Because Cultcha is API-first with a bundled MCP server, an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can read your data and take actions: pull revenue, attendance, and membership reports in plain English, look up customers and transactions, create or update products, and help configure your POS — all using your own secured API key.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data. Cultcha ships an MCP server, so any MCP-compatible client — Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and others — can call Cultcha’s API as native tools, no glue code required.

Does this work with ChatGPT?

Yes. Cultcha exposes a standard REST API with an OpenAPI spec you can import into ChatGPT’s tools/actions, plus the MCP server for Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients. Any assistant that can call an API or speak MCP can drive Cultcha.

Is the AI / API included in every plan?

Yes — the REST API, OpenAPI spec, and MCP server are part of the platform on every plan. You just generate an API key from Settings once you’re signed in.

Is it safe to give AI access?

You stay in control. Access uses an API key you create and can revoke at any time, scoped to your own organisation. You choose which assistant to connect and can remove access instantly.
